20260123 Nyamuk Series

Inspiration comes from the little, tiny objects that surround me. I tried to capture their movement—the restless hovering, the sudden darting—and even the sound you might hear if you manage to splash one. Each mark is a trace of presence and absence, a rhythm of annoyance transformed into attention. The series is not only about mosquitoes, but about noticing what we usually dismiss, and finding beauty in the fleeting choreography of interruption.
