REFLECTIONS
A collaborative exhibition by Ch’ng Kiah Kiean & Ambiga Devy. Kiah Kiean is a Penang-based visual artist who works with a multitude of materials including watercolour, ink, graphite, and pencils. In REFLECTIONS, he presents a body of contemporary Chinese art in response and in interaction with Ambiga’s photographs of flower arrangements of plants and trees she gathered during her introspective walks around Paddington and Woollahra, Sydney, Australia. These interactions occurred via WhatsApp conversations spanning 9 months in 2021.
